MEET THE CHEFS
Prestige Catering is an owner-operated, full-service off-premise catering company that believes our clients should get exactly what they want and expect. With more than 15 years in the hospitality industry, Voni Bowman established the company in 1996 when she sought to inspire others with her passion for providing exceptional food. It all began with a cooking class in high school. She later decided to follow her passion for food and went to culinary school. She graduated from Strafford Culinary Institute in 1991 and began her career working at Red Lobsters and Sodexho Food Services as a cook. She moved on to work for such establishments as Hilton Hotel, Hyatt Regency Hotel and Marriott Hotels. Since her passion was in catering she worked for some of the top catering companies in the Washington Metropolitan area to gain specialized experience. Occasions Catering, Festive Food Catering and Smithsonian Institute taught her the skills she would need to launch her own catering company. When she married Russell Bowman in 2010 they would work together to take the company to the next level to include event planning. Prestige was relaunched in 2015 as Prestige Catering & Events.

We listen to our clients needs and provide a distinctive menu that’s prepared and presented in a way that will delight and inspire their guest.
